Company Introduction
Walter Machine, Inc. was established in 1981 by engineers with extensive experience in small arms and vehicle parts manufacturing. We launched our powder actuated tool (PAT) product line in 1985. Our tools are exported primarily to the USA, as well as to Canada, Brazil, Chile, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and other markets worldwide. Today, Walter Machine, Inc. is a professional manufacturer of powder actuated tools for direct fastening applications in Taiwan. We not only offer products under our own WALTE brand but also supply PAT tools to leading global companies in the industry on an ODM/OEM basis. To remain competitive and meet customer needs, we will continue to improve product quality and develop new products.
Walter Machine, Inc. received the “Taiwan Top 1000 Elite SME Award” in 2014, 2015, 2021, 2025, and 2026. The selection criteria vary by year and include factors such as revenue growth momentum, export competitiveness, and financial soundness. Of the more than 1.7 million small and medium-sized enterprises in Taiwan, only 1,000 are selected each year by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), a leading global provider of business data and analytics.
Design and
Manufacturing Capability
With over 45 years of experience in designing and manufacturing PAT tools, we hold more than 30 utility patents. Customized designs for specific types of pins or threaded studs are also available. Our ISO 9001-certified quality management system helps ensure consistent design and manufacturing processes and reliable product quality.
Rapid Prototyping Greatly Shortens Time to Market
Our investment in the Stratasys FDM 400MC rapid prototyping system in 2007 has significantly shortened our product development time. It produces accurate, production-quality prototype parts within hours, allowing us to quickly verify new design concepts. In 2020, we expanded our additive development capabilities with a FORTUS 380MC, which can 3D-print carbon-fiber-reinforced nylon parts with the strength and ductility required for powder-actuated tool development.
